Finance matters today

A couple of years ago, I worked as a security officer for a nearby bank. Among the difficulties that colleagues and I experienced was switching from the regular, lethal submission methods to non-lethal ones.

My part-time work being a bartender gives great relief to my financial issues as a college student. I did not bother needing to work late nights. I rather liked mingling with people. I was actually beginning to get used to things when another issue appeared.

As a newsbeat reporter, I usually need to work late and on location with my dependable cameraman. However, the moment we go back to the station, I have to return home by myself.

I had already made a decision where to buy pepper spray that was cost-effective as soon as an auntie of mine showed me what she used. What I had in mind was far different from what she owned.

As soon as my hubby and I moved to a new city, we knew that it would take a while before we could feel comfortable there. However, we were aware that regardless of where we lived, danger could not always be averted.

With the rate of crime increasing with every passing month, those who are unemployed and in serious debt sometimes turn to begging or, even worse, petty crime. Thus, many people have an interest in keeping themselves safe while on the streets.
